Project Overview

The client required the manufacture and supply of:

• 304 grade stainless steel straight bollards – semi dome top
• 304 grade stainless steel cranked bollards – 114mm diameter with reflective banding
• Galvanised hoop barriers (two size variations) – root fixed
• Stainless steel Sheffield cycle stands – root fixed

The aim was to enhance pedestrian safety, protect storefront areas, organise traffic flow, and provide secure cycle parking facilities.

Stainless Steel Straight Bollards – 89mm Semi Dome

Speedy Street Solutions manufactured and supplied:

304 Grade Stainless Steel Bollards

• 89mm diameter
• 1300mm overall height
• Semi-dome top
• Root fixed installation

These bollards provide effective vehicle deterrence while maintaining a clean, modern appearance. The semi-dome top delivers a smooth architectural finish and eliminates sharp edges.

Manufactured from 304 grade stainless steel, the bollards offer excellent corrosion resistance and require minimal maintenance, making them ideal for exposed retail forecourts.

Stainless Steel Cranked Bollards – 114mm with Reflective Banding

For areas requiring enhanced protection, Speedy Street Solutions supplied:

• 114mm diameter
• 1500mm overall length
• 1200mm above ground height
• Semi-dome top
• Root fixed installation
• 2 x 25mm yellow reflective bands

The larger 114mm diameter provides increased strength and impact resistance, ideal for protecting high-risk zones such as storefront glazing and pedestrian access routes.

The twin 25mm yellow reflective bands improve visibility in low-light conditions, increasing safety for both drivers and pedestrians.

Galvanised Hoop Barriers – Root Fixed

To define pedestrian areas and prevent vehicle encroachment, Speedy Street Solutions manufactured and supplied two sizes of galvanised hoop barriers:

Hoop Barrier – 700mm Wide

• 700mm width
• 1200mm height
• Root fixed installation
• Hot dip galvanised finish

Hoop Barrier – 1500mm Wide

• 1500mm width
• 1200mm height
• Root fixed installation
• Hot dip galvanised finish

The galvanised finish ensures long-term corrosion protection, while the root-fixed installation provides maximum structural stability. These barriers help organise pedestrian movement and protect high-traffic areas around the store entrance.

To support sustainable travel, the project included:

• 1100mm overall height
• 800mm above ground height
• Root fixed installation
