This stylish solar path light is a unique design. It's super slimline and two sided, designed to illuminate in both directions independently. It's ideal for lighting pathways or illuminating trip hazards - so it's more than just a bollard with a light!
Each side of the light has a control button which selects the mode for the corresponding side of LEDs:
- PIR Mode – Full brightness when PIR triggered, then returns to 15% brightness after 20 seconds of no movement, so saves power.
- Constant Light (dusk to dawn) – Constant illumination at 50% brightness.
- Off.
The high quality monocrystalline solar panel is also double sided in order to catch the maximum amount of sun. Set in 2 layers of toughened glass, the integrated solar panel is extremely robust and can withstand various bumps and grinds! The one solar panel charges the replaceable LiFePO4 lithium batteries, which in turn power both sets of LEDs.
When only one set of LEDs are used, the batteries will charge for even longer. Each side has 10W long life LEDs with a high lumens output of 1000 lumens. When both sets are on, this generates a massive 2000 lumens output. There are two different options: warm white and daylight.
Of course, solar energy is probably the best type of energy there is because it doesn't use any power from the grid and there are no installation costs or maintenance charges. In areas that are really difficult, or impossible to hard wire, solar lights are the perfec solution.
