Our UK-manufactured single-tier bike racks are specifically designed to optimise space in areas with limited bicycle parking. These innovative cycle racks provide efficient bike storage with one upper tier and ground-level access, allowing for more bicycles to be securely parked within the same footprint.
What is a Single Tier Bike Rack?
A single-tier bike rack includes a durable frame with one upper level of horizontal racks. This tier can be accessed through a lifting mechanism or an inclined ramp, enabling cyclists to easily place their bikes on the upper platform. The lower level remains at ground level for straightforward parking and retrieval of bicycles, making it an ideal solution for maximizing bike storage in compact spaces.

What Are Single-Tier Bike Racks Made Of?
In the UK, single-tier bike racks are primarily constructed from the following materials:
1. Galvanized Steel
The most common material for single-tier bike racks is galvanized steel. Known for its strength and durability, galvanized steel is resistant to rust and corrosion, making it perfect for outdoor bike storage. The steel is coated with a layer of zinc through galvanization, which enhances its ability to withstand harsh weather conditions and ensures a long-lasting lifespan.
PLEASE NOTE: There are TWO versions of this single-tier bike stand. You can either have the bike racks hoops underneath (like in the 3rd product photo) or have the basic single-tier cycle rack without thenm.
It is also important to note that if you have the cycle hoops in the bottom section, there will be five of them, like in the photo, (2 bikes fasten to each one) whilst in the top section, there will be 10 single bike racks.
